Parents raise concern when their child is as young as 14 months. Yet the everage age of autism diagnosis is over 14 years old.

Moms work fewer hours a week, earn 56% less than mothers of children with no health limitations, and 35% less than mothers with children with other conditions
Many minorities and underserved children are missed altogether
25% of children with autism are undiagnosed. Hispanic and black children are 65% and 19% less likely than white children to be diagnosed with autism.
Autism costs society > $268 billion
The cost of caring for American with autism may rise to $461 billion by 2025. Early diagnosis and interventions could reduce this.
